How are teams formed?

Teams are formed based on two factors:

  • The number of players who signed up for Player Evaluations where we can form an 8, 9, or 10 person roster per team
  • Teams WILL NOT be formed if we can only create less than a 7 person roster per team.
  • An adult who is willing to coach that team

Please note that any player who didn't make our teams will be automatically placed on our Waiting List. IF a spot opens up, we will email those players as soon as possible

Can a player switch to another team?

  • Once a player is chosen on a team, he/she may not switch to another team without both coaches' approval AND the Program Director's approval
  • It is the sole discretion of the Director of DC Trojans Basketball Program to move a player from one team to another if the need arises.

What is the cost per player?

The cost of a NEW player will be $180 per player based on a 10 player roster.

  • Includes 1 set of DC Trojans uniform (jersey & shorts)

The cost of a RETURNING Player Cost: $130.00 per player based on a 10 player roster.

  • Does Not include DC Trojans uniform

  - If the team roster is LESS THAN 10 players then the cost could be higher than $180.00 per player.


It will cover the following:

  • Dedicated DC Trojans Basketball website
  • Dedicated TeamSnap account
  • Administration Fees
  • Daly City Basketball League Team Registration
  • 6x 60min team practices (1 practice per week)
  • 6 regular season games (usually 1 game per week) depending on the number of teams in your division
  • Possible playoff games depending on division standing and the number of teams in your division

PAYMENTS CAN BE PAID IN FULL OR TWO PAYMENTS. 

What is your Refund Policy?

DC Trojans Basketball Program will not issue any refund once payment has been received and uniforms have been ordered.

Are there any Covid-19 safety protocols?

  • At this time. there NOT BE Covid-19 safety protocols in place during practices and games.
  • ALL Players will need to Opt-In to weekly covid tests at TRP per the school district's gym use policy.
  • ALL coaches and players will be grouped under Vaccinated or Unvaccinated Coach/Player Safety Guidelines if they were exposed to covid anytime during the season.
  • Players will need to complete a COVID-19 Check-In Form before 5pm in order to attend practices and games.
  • At this time. there NOT BE Covid-19 safety protocols in place during practices and games.
  • If the Daly City Basketball League choses to implement their Covid-19 policies, we will inform all Trojan parents via email.

When will the League start?

  • The Daly City Basketball League is scheduled to start the week of January 9th
  • First practice for all the teams will start the week of January 9th and League Games will start on January 14th for some teams
